There are many files types that are compatible with different areas within your website, below you can find all of the accepted file types; as well as the file size upload limits.

 Accepted attachment file types

Through the use of the 'Upload Attachment' button at the bottom of most of your editable pages (see right), you can attach a file to that specific page. When uploading a file, you have a wide variety of file types that can be uploaded to your disposal:

  • doc
  • docx
  • pdf
  • zip
  • xls
  • xlsx
  • ppt
  • pptx
  • pptm
  • pps
  • ppsx
  • rtf
  • txt
  • csv
  • mp3

 

 

 


As for image files, here are the accepted file types:

  • jpg
  • jpeg
  • gif
  • png
  • bmp

 

 

 Accepted File Manager types

Uploading files to your websites File Manager can bring many benefits, allowing you to store documents and information, pull through documents into your site, constrain certain users to their own folder within the file manager, and event edit images and file names. Below you can find a list of all the accepted file types:

  • pdf
  • txt
  • ppt
  • ppsx
  • pptx
  • pps
  • pptm
  • doc
  • docx
  • rtf
  • xlt
  • xls
  • xlsx
  • swf

 

 

 

 

Image file types:

  • jpg
  • jpeg
  • gif
  • png
  • bmp


 Accepted video file types

Through the use of our CMS, you also have access to upload videos to your website. This can be done through the use of the Video Manager, here are a list of the video file types accepted by the Video manager:

  • WMV (.wmv)
  • QuickTime (.mov)
  • AVI (.avi)
  • Mpeg (.mpg)
  • MP4


 File size upload limits

Below, you can find the generic maximum upload limits for files dependent on the area you're uploading the file to. However, bare in mind that each site may be slightly different, therefore, to find your exact upload limits you can contact our support team and they'll be happy to help.

File Attachments: Individual image and Document uploads: 20MB
File Manager: Individual Document uploads: 15MB
File Manager: Individual Image uploads: 5MB
Video Manager: As long as you have the space for the video within your Video Manager, you will be able to upload the video. Although, the bigger the video, the longer the time to encode and use on your site.
